Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain engines, including gasoline and diesel engines, ensuring optimal powertrain performance. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems accurately. Conduct wheel alignments, suspension repairs, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) calibrations to enhance vehicle safety features. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to execute repairs efficiently. Perform routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, brake replacements, and fluid checks to uphold manufacturer standards. Collaborate with team members on complex repairs like engine overhaul, transmission work, or auto body repairs when necessary. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background with a focus on automotive repair. Strong knowledge of automotive engine systems, electrical wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures. Familiarity with ADAS technology, alignment procedures, and heavy-duty diesel engine repair. Ability to interpret schematics and utilize automotive electrical systems knowledge effectively. Skilled in the use of automotive diagnostic tools and powertrain repair techniques. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with manual handling skills for heavy lifting tasks. Exceptional customer service skills to communicate repair findings clearly and professionally to clients.
