Job Description
About Us Amados Jet Skis is one of the fastest-growing jet ski rental companies serving the Las Vegas area. We take pride in maintaining a clean, reliable fleet and providing customers with a safe, top-quality experience. We're looking for a dependable, motivated mechanic who enjoys diagnosing and repairing equipment while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair Yamaha WaveRunners and other personal watercraft Perform engine repairs, tune-ups, oil changes, spark plugs, impellers, batteries, and cooling system repairs Troubleshoot electrical, fuel, and ignition systems Winterize, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on all equipment Repair and maintain jet ski trailers, including: Bearings Brakes Lights & wiring Tires Hubs Suspension Couplers and winches Inspect equipment before and after rentals Keep detailed maintenance records Maintain a clean and organized shop Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing equipment when needed Identify parts needed and help manage inventory Qualifications Experience working on jet skis, boats, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, automotive, diesel, or small engines Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills Experience with trailer repairs is highly preferred Ability to lift 75+ lbs Valid driver's license Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Welding or fabrication experience is a plus Yamaha PWC experience is a major plus, but we're willing to train the right mechanic What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who: Takes pride in their work Can diagnose problems without simply replacing parts Works efficiently while maintaining quality Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic Wants to grow with a rapidly expanding company Why Join Amados Jet Skis?
