Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide customers through the service process, recommend additional services through upselling, and ensure a smooth, positive experience from start to finish. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain repair and maintenance procedures clearly, providing detailed estimates using estimating software Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Coordinate with technicians by providing accurate vehicle information and repair orders Manage service writing tasks efficiently while maintaining excellent client communication throughout the process Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating systems to assess repairs accurately Handle cash transactions and process payments securely while maintaining proper documentation Qualifications Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar auto service management role within a dealership environment Comfortable with a sales role and income is based on commission based pay plan Familiarity with estimating software and automotive diagnostics tools is preferred but not required Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Knowledge of automotive repair procedures including oil changes, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, shocks & struts, tire service, and collision repair is highly desirable Ability to upsell services confidently while prioritizing customer needs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Join us to be part of a vibrant team that values your expertise and enthusiasm.
