Automotive Service Technician Morris Ford is seeking an experienced Ford Certified Service Technician to join our growing team. For over 49 years, Morris Ford has provided outstanding quality and service to the community. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys being part of a team, and wants to build a long-term career with a family-owned dealership. The ideal candidate will have a strong automotive service background, Ford certifications, and previous dealership experience. Diesel experience is a plus, and we are willing to train the right person. Automotive Service Technician Responsibilities Complete repairs and maintenance according to repair orders and dealership standards Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning Service Ford vehicles ranging from Fiesta to F-550 models Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, inspections, and safety checks Use diagnostic equipment and special service tools to identify and resolve vehicle issues Test-drive vehicles and verify completed repairs Communicate with Service Advisors regarding recommended repairs and estimated completion times Complete warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications Maintain a clean, organized, and safe service environment Qualifications 2+ years of automotive Service Technician experience preferred Ford Certification preferred Previous Ford dealership experience preferred B-level qualifications in Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment Basic computer skills and ability to learn new technology and repair procedures Valid driver's license and clean driving record Strong attention to detail and hand-eye coordination Positive, friendly attitude and commitment to excellent customer service Ability to work effectively with a team in a fast-paced environment Benefits Competitive pay Health, medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement savings plan with company contributions for eligible employees Paid time off and vacation Paid training and professional development Regular performance reviews Generous employee discounts Employee vehicle purchase plans Growth and advancement opportunities Flexible work schedule Long-term job security Family-owned and operated Join the Morris Ford team and become part of a dealership that values its employees, customers, and community.
