Entry-Level Technicians:

Have automotive schooling, maintenance experience, or mechanical ability and want to become a full-line technician? We are also interested in motivated candidates who are ready to learn, train and grow. What You'll Do Diagnose, maintain and repair cars, trucks and SUVs Perform repairs according to repair orders and manufacturer specifications Work on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC and other vehicle systems based on your skill level Use modern diagnostic tools and Ford service equipment Test-drive vehicles and verify repairs Communicate with Service Advisors regarding vehicle needs and additional repairs Perform warranty repairs according to Ford specifications Continue developing your technical skills through training and hands-on experience What We're Looking For Automotive repair or service experience preferred Automotive education or training is a plus NYS Inspection License is a plus ASE or manufacturer certifications are a plus Strong mechanical and troubleshooting ability Willingness to learn new vehicle technology and repair procedures Dependable, positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record Build Your Career With Ford Today's Ford technician works on much more than engines and brakes.
