Service Technician (EXP REQ) Keller Chevrolet - 3.2 Cheektowaga, NY Job Details Full-time $16 - $40 an hour 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off 401(k) matching Employee discount Professional development assistance Referral program Retirement plan Qualifications Vehicle cleanliness maintenance Mechanical repair Corrective maintenance operations Automotive component lubrication Motor Vehicle Inspection License Full Job Description Looking for Experienced Service Technicians Pay based on experience Lube Tech Experience necessary NY State inspection license a plus Compensation based on level and experience Sundays off Holidays off Perform work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards, as well as Company policies Diagnose cause of malfunctions and perform repairs Communicate and work effectively with the parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended Communicates with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommended Accurately document all work performed and recommended on the repair order Road test vehicles when required Maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletins Ensure that the customer's car is kept clean Ensure work area is always maintained and cleaned Operate all tools and equipment in a safe manner
