Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and customer satisfaction. The Automotive Technician will work on a wide range of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, and more.Key Responsibilities:
Conduct vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure safety and performance. Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks. Repair or replace faulty parts and systems, including engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, and braking components. Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and labor hours on work orders. Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain findings, recommend solutions, and provide updates on repair progress. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new automotive technology, and repair techniques. Adhere to all safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; automotive trade school certification preferred. ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is a plus. Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic. Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems in various vehicle types. Proficiency with diagnostic tools, repair equipment, and hand tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers. Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.Job Type:
