Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Automotive Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles. Ford will be the main brand that you will repairing. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collabortive shop that emphasizes quality over quanatiy. We want the job done right the first time, not just the fastest time. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, powertrains, electrical systems, and diesel engines. Repair or replace components such as belts, hoses, brakes, steering systems, and suspension parts. Perform wheel alignments and wheel balancing. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools safely and effectively. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed using Ford standards for accurate documentation and billing. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending maintenance solutions that meet customer needs. Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and manufacturer updates to continually enhance your skills. Skills Dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician is preferred, but not a must. Willing to work with new technicians. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems. Willingness to work a full eight hour day. Willingness to work on whatever the schedule presents for the day. Willingness to put the cell phone down durning the work day.
Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour
