Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. The technician will work on a diverse range of vehicles ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. Duties Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on automotive systems, including mechanical, electrical, and powertrain components. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Repair or replace faulty parts using hand tools and power tools while adhering to safety standards. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs and service. Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to calibrate sensors and ensure proper functionality. Maintain detailed records of services performed and communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle's condition. Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning. Experience Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and repair techniques, including experience with transmissions, alignments, and welding is highly desirable. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems and the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively. Experience in auto estimating is a plus, along with strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients. A solid understanding of vehicle maintenance practices is essential, along with a commitment to quality workmanship. Candidates should possess relevant mechanic experience in both gasoline and diesel engine repair.
