Job Summary We are looking for a Mechanic to help keep our production machines running safely and efficiently. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, performing repairs, and completing preventive maintenance on packaging and labeling machines used in a manufacturing environment. The Mechanic will work closely with the Maintenance team, machine operators, and supervisors to help reduce downtime and support daily production operations. Responsibilities Repair and maintain production, packaging, and labeling equipment Troubleshoot machine issues and identify mechanical, electrical, or air system problems Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment Help keep machines running safely and efficiently during production Read and follow machine manuals, diagrams, and work instructions Communicate equipment issues and repairs with supervisors and team members Maintain maintenance tools, parts, and supply inventory Complete maintenance logs and reports as needed Assist with training newer maintenance employees when needed Follow all company safety rules and procedures Support additional maintenance tasks assigned by management Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Technical or electro-mechanical training preferred 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred Experience working with packaging and labeling equipment is a plus Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and work independently Strong communication and teamwork skills Organized and dependable Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working around machinery and wearing required PPE May occasionally work in hot, cold, or other varying weather conditions PPE Requirements When required, employees must wear: Safety glasses Protective gloves Face mask Other required safety equipment Work Location In person
