Automotive Service Technician Job Type:

Full-Time Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and motivated Auto Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of vehicles while delivering excellent customer service. The successful candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Diagnose vehicle problems using diagnostic equipment and testing procedures. Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake service, and fluid checks. Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning systems. Inspect vehicles and identify necessary repairs or maintenance. Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently. Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure quality workmanship. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Follow all company policies and safety procedures. Communicate repair recommendations clearly with service advisors and customers.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an automotive technician preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles. Knowledge of automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work. ASE Certification is preferred but not required. Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
