Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in various aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring that vehicles are safe and reliable for our customers. Duties Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues related to powertrain systems, diesel engines, and air brake systems. Utilize automotive service tools and power tools to conduct repairs efficiently. Conduct auto estimating to provide accurate assessments of repair costs to customers. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Weld components as necessary for repairs or modifications is a plus. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service requests. Requirements Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in vehicle maintenance and repair techniques. Familiarity with powertrain systems, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, and auto estimating processes. Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications in automotive service are a plus.
