+ Career Growth Yankee Boating Center is looking for an experienced Diagnostic Marine Technician to join our Service Department in Lake George, NY. This is a full-time, year-round position for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems, doing quality work, and being part of a strong team. Compensation Pay range:

$90,000-$115,000 annually, based on experience, certifications, and diagnostic ability. Overtime and bonus opportunities available. What You'll Do As an Experienced Diagnostic Marine Technician, you will: Diagnose and repair marine engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, steering systems, drivability issues, and related boat systems Work on outboards, sterndrives, inboards, towboats, pontoons, and related marine systems Use diagnostic software, service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical resources to solve problems accurately Perform high-quality repairs, inspections, maintenance, rigging, sea trials, and quality-control checks Help prevent comebacks by identifying root causes and completing work correctly the first time Communicate clearly with the Service Manager, Service Advisor, Parts Department, and other technicians Support a team-focused shop culture built on professionalism, respect, and accountability Continue learning through factory training, internal training, and hands-on experience Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate has: 8+ years of hands-on marine technician experience, automotive diagnostic technician experience, or similar mechanical diagnostic experience Strong diagnostic skills with mechanical, electrical, and engine systems Current or past industry certifications A strong work ethic and pride in doing high-quality work Good judgment, common sense, and attention to detail A positive attitude and willingness to help teammates A desire to keep learning and growing professionally Boating knowledge or marine industry experience preferred, but strong automotive diagnostic technicians are encouraged to apply Minimum Requirements High integrity and a commitment to doing the right thing Clean driver's license Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for extended periods Comfortable working in both climate-controlled and outdoor environments Must have core hand tools; Yankee provides specialty and diagnostic tools Must be able to reliably commute to Lake George, NY, or relocate before starting work What You'll Get Full-time, year-round work Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities Bonus opportunities Health insurance Dental and vision insurance Health savings account Retirement plan with company match Generous paid time off Paid training and professional development Factory training opportunities Employee discounts Referral program Travel reimbursement A respectful, fun, achievement-focused workplace Career growth with a company that is investing in its people, facilities, and future Why Join Yankee Boating Center?
