Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help keep vehicles running smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service that exceeds expectations. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems, including powertrain, electrical, suspension, and transmission. Conduct repairs and maintenance on vehicles, including engine repairs (gasoline and diesel engines), transmission system repairs, vehicle suspension system repairs, and alignment services. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems effectively. Repair or replace vehicle components such as axles, brakes, steering systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Follow dealership or company procedures for auto estimating and ensure all work is documented accurately for warranty or billing purposes. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and vehicle maintenance procedures. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical instruments. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic license or certification as required by local regulations; ASE certification is a plus. Knowledge of ADAS calibration procedures and diesel engine repair is advantageous. $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
