JOB DETAIL

Truck Equipment Specialist Must own a tool box and hand tools necessary to: Perform work necessary to build, weld, assemble, customize, fabricate, install repair, replace, and modify components of commercial dump bodies, snowplows, flatbeds, tarp systems, liftgates, salters and sanders. Safe usage of hand and power tools (including metal fabricating machines, welders, plasma cutters, saws, brakes, shears, drills, sanders, files, grinders, and rivet guns) Uses work orders, blueprints, and specifications to determine repairs or custom installation / fabrication procedures and sequence of operations. Installation of PTO's, pumps, hydraulic cabinets and lines Maintain your personal tool inventory. Maintain Job timecard. Communicates with other workers to fit and align heavy parts or expedite processing of repair parts. Other duties as assigned.
