About Us Niagara Heavy Truck Repair is a new heavy-duty truck repair shop opening in Lockport, NY. We specialize in commercial truck repair — Class 6, 7, and 8 vehicles. Small team, clean shop, real work from day one. We are backed by an existing fleet customer and growing fast. The Role We are looking for a shop technician to handle the service work that keeps the shop moving — preventive maintenance, brake jobs (new parts only, no machining), tire service, fluid services, power washing, and general shop support. You will work alongside our senior technician and learn commercial truck repair from the ground up. This is not a dead-end job. If you have the aptitude and the work ethic, there is a clear path to higher-skill work and higher pay as the shop grows. What You Will Do Preventive maintenance — oil changes, filters, fluids, belts, hoses New brake installations — pads, shoes, rotors, drums, calipers (new parts only) Tire service — mounting, dismounting, inflation, rotation Vehicle washing and detailing Shop organization — parts receiving, stocking, keeping the bay clean Assist senior technician on larger jobs as needed

What We Are Looking For Required:

Mechanical aptitude — you know how things work and you're not afraid to get dirty Basic hand tool experience — you show up with your own tools Valid driver's license — clean record Reliable — on time, every day, no excuses Able to lift 75 lbs Preferred (not required): Auto or diesel tech school, vocational program, or military mechanical MOS Prior shop experience — any kind CDL or interest in obtaining one What You Get $20-24/hr depending on experience 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday Overtime available as shop grows Hands-on training under an experienced heavy truck technician Ground floor opportunity — we are building something and we want the right people in it

Pay:

$22.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
