We are looking for an experienced Heavy-Duty Diesel Technician to join our truck repair and maintenance team in Lockport, NY. We have a steady base of fleet work, a fully equipped shop, and professional diagnostic capabilities. We're focused on quality repairs, accurate diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and keeping commercial trucks safely on the road. • and heavy-duty trucks Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled services Brake, suspension, steering, and wheel-end repairs Tire replacement and repair Electrical troubleshooting and repair Hydraulic diagnosis and repair Engine and drivetrain repairs DOT and safety-related repairs Identify developing problems before they result in breakdowns Perform occasional local service calls Accurately document repairs, labor, and parts used Help maintain parts and shop inventory Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Work collaboratively with other technicians on complex repairs Qualifications Professional medium•or heavy-duty truck repair experience Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Experience with air brakes, suspension, steering, and wheel ends Familiarity with diesel engines and drivetrain systems Electrical diagnostic ability Ability to work independently and efficiently Own basic hand tools Valid driver's license Strong commitment to safety and quality Preferred but not required: NYS Motor Vehicle Inspector certification CDL Hydraulic experience Welding and fabrication experience Detroit and Cummins experience Freightliner experience What We Offer $30•40/hour , based on experience and capabilities Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule Steady year-round work Well-equipped shop Professional diagnostic equipment Variety of repair work Opportunity to grow with the company Work environment where technicians are trusted to do their jobs Focus on quality repairs rather than rushing work out the door Our goal is simple: fix trucks correctly, keep customers' equipment moving, and build a shop where good technicians want to work.
