Responsibilities:

• Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
• Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, such as engine problems, electrical malfunctions, and brake system failures.. Able to work "on road"
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve automotive problems
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to assess their condition and identify potential issues
• Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, such as tune-ups and fluid replacements
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed on vehicles
• Collaborate with other mechanics and team members to ensure efficient workflow

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment
• Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures
• Experience with electrical systems, including wiring and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and technology
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Skills:

• Proficient in using cranes for heavy lifting when necessary
• Expertise in maintaining and repairing various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and air brakes
• Strong understanding of electrical systems in vehicles
• Ability to use power tools effectively and safely for repairs and installations
• Skilled in diagnosing automotive issues using diagnostic equipment and software
• Knowledge of proper maintenance procedures for vehicles
