In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance to ensure optimal vehicle performance and safety. Responsibilities Conduct thorough diagnostics using advanced automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Perform repairs on various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmissions, diesel engines, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Execute routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and alignments to keep vehicles in top condition. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and adjustments, ensuring safety and precision. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently. Repair or replace components related to automotive electrical systems, welding tasks, or other mechanical parts as needed. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background in automotive repair. Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle makes, especially GM vehicles or similar brands. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostics, schematics interpretation, and electronic systems troubleshooting. Familiarity with ADAS calibration, wheel alignment procedures, and powertrain repairs including transmissions and diesel engines. Demonstrated ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment safely and efficiently. Prior experience in auto estimating or working within a dealership environment is a plus.
