Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information. Listen carefully to customers and document their concerns. Clearly describe all vehicle symptoms and customer concerns for the technician. Serve as the main point of communication between the customer and the technician. Review the vehicle's age, mileage, service history, and manufacturer recommendations. Recommend required maintenance and repairs based on the vehicle's condition and service history. Prepare complete and accurate estimates for labor and parts. Review repair costs and obtain customer authorization before work is performed. Establish the customer's preferred method of communication, including phone, text, or email. Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the repair process. Provide customers with timely updates regarding inspection results, repairs, parts delays, and completion times. Present technician inspection findings and explain recommended services clearly. Follow up on all customer-approved and declined recommendations. Verify that the final repair order accurately reflects the work performed and the amount authorized by the customer. Review completed repairs and charges with the customer at vehicle delivery. Maintain accurate repair-order documentation. Work closely with technicians, dispatchers, Parts personnel, office staff, and management. Help maintain strong customer satisfaction and retention. Qualifications Previous automotive dealership experience is required. Previous experience as an Automotive Service Advisor, Service Writer, Service Consultant, or Automotive Technician is preferred. A proven and verifiable record of delivering exceptional customer service. Strong sales, communication, and organizational skills. High energy and a warm, friendly personality. Ability to manage multiple customers and repair orders in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Professional appearance and attitude. Personal and professional integrity. Knowledge of the CDK dealership operating system is preferred. Valid driver's license. Desire to build a long-term career with a growing automotive organization.
