Job Description
Midas Seaford is looking for a Part time Service Writer. You will help manage and direct all service department activities of a Midas retail store engaged in selling tires and related automotive parts and mechanical services. You will be responsible for directing the work of a team of mechanics. Scheduling mechanics/technicians' work, ordering parts, ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs exceeding customer expectations, the safety of personnel, and housekeeping of the shop We service and repair cars and light trucks, including brakes, diagnostics, suspension, drive train, AC, engine repair's and tires. The ideal candidate will have previous Shop management experience and previous mechanical experience to be able to effectively sell and communicate with customers and lead a team of your own. They Will Also have NYS Inspectors license or be familiar with the process and be willing to obtain one over time. We Use Systems like AllData, Identifix, and Ro Writer. We Understand we are all here to make money and this position offers a competitive base weekly salary along with a monthly and quarterly bonus check on everything you Sell.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensure effective daily operation of the service center to achieve sales and profit goals. General oversight of the shop; ability to prioritize duties and job requirements. Motivate and monitor the performance of the Shop Employees. Schedule and conduct shop meetings with employees as needed. Ordering of Parts for customer vehicles on jobs sold. Write Up Customers and inform them of their vehicles multi-point inspection report and sell them the products and services needed.Requirements:
At least 3-4 Years of Sales Experience in the Automotive Industry at another shop. NYS State Inspectors License. (Willing to get one). Professional appearance, strong work ethic, reliable and punctual. Must have a valid driver's license. please call adam 6315141111 do not call the shop.Job Type:
