Job Summary:

Long Island based Concrete supplier with locations in Nassau and Suffolk is currently seeking motivated and experienced Diesel Truck mechanics to improve and expand our maintenance department. Mixer, Payloader and Tractor-Trailer experience preferred. Competitive wages and benefits including medical, 401K and uniforms provided. Union shop. Wage commensurate with experience. 5 years experience required Qualified applicants for A Mechanic should be capable of preventative and corrective maintenance including major component rebuilding and replacement, electronic diagnostics and welding. B Mechanics should be capable of PM and basic running repairs as well as heavy duty repairs including front end and suspension. The ability to follow directions, fill out basic work orders for work done and work well with others is required. Applicants should expect to work overtime and be required to work in a time sensitive manner at times. Must have own tools Must have a valid driver's license and be able to perform roadside repairs expediently. CDL is a plus. The ability to operate and maneuver Heavy Equipment and tractor trailers is required. Must be able to pass drug test.
