Job Description
Automotive Technician - All levels (pay rate based on experience) Our mission is to provide customers with the highest level of service at an affordable rate to ensure their vehicle is repaired correctly the first time. We need new additions to our team at our growing Webster and Greece repair shops (VW, Audi, and European experience a plus). Our hours of operation are 8AM to 5:30PM Monday-Thursday, and 8AM to 5PM Friday - no weekends!! We have a clean, well-equipped repair shop with modern equipment, AllData computer systems, and Snap-On diagnostic equipment. The position is for a full-time service technician, with a current NYS Inspectors license, with an average of 40 - 45 hour work week. Technicians are paid hourly (no flat rate), and overtime is paid after 40 hours per week. Hourly rate is variable, dependent on training, ability, production, and experience. We repair and maintain all makes and models, no heavy trucks at all. As an automotive technician, you will perform vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned: Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, steering, transmission, suspension, brakes, air-conditioning, and electrical. Perform vehicle inspection to identify necessary repairs. Provide labor and time estimates for all repair work. Inspect and test vehicles to determine necessary and applicable repair work. Complete paperwork and documentation for service repairs. Provide and maintain a basic inventory of required hand tools. Perform alignment services. Provide excellent customer service.
