Mobile Service Technician / GM Mobile Service + Van — Cleveland / Westlake / Avon / Elyria / Lorain Reports to: Mobile Services Director /
Fixed Operations Director Location:
Cleveland, OH (mobile field work) Your new Mobile Unit State of the art, brand new EV van. Completely fitted wiht oil suction technology, tire changer and balancer, all tools needed to complete the job! This van is also equipped with GM Connect technology, GPS tracking technology with route assist. Overview We're hiring a Mobile Service Technician to diagnose and repair trucks and trailers on customer sites across the Cleveland area. This hands‑on role requires Computer knowledge, solid troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions. Key Responsibilities- Travel to customer locations, change oil or tires as needed and scheduled, air filters, wiper blade, batteries, etc. Complete Recalls as needed
- Order parts as needed and document repair details in company systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized mobile service vehicle.
- Follow all safety procedures (wheel chocks, lockout/tagout, OSHA rules).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Mobile Services. Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or ASE certification in diesel repair preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in General Motors Experience.
- Valid Ohio driver's license; must be insurable by company carrier. Class A CDL with medical card preferred.
- Ability to walk up to 1/2 mile, operate a van, use stairs, bend/crouch and lift up to 50 lb.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, time management and basic computer skills.

Perform mobile services:
oil & filters, batteries, brakes, tires/rotations, wipers, fluid exchanges, inspections, bulb replacements, diagnostic scans, software resets/updates (as applicable) Verify concern, diagnose, and recommend safe, transparent repairs with photos/video Close out work using a tablet-based workflow (estimates, approvals, parts usage, notes, photos) Maintain van inventory; request parts and restock to plan Follow spill-prevention and environmental procedures; keep a clean, safe mobile workspace Deliver 5-star customer experiences: clear communication, professional appearance, tidy job site Track and meetKPIs:
on-time arrival, first-time-fix rate, quality/come-back rate, CSI, upsell attachment Support occasional special events/fleet days; collaborate with service/parts teams What You'll Need 2+ years professional automotive service experience (mobile or shop) Strong skills in maintenance and light mechanical (brakes, batteries, tires, filters, fluids); basic diagnostics Valid driver's license; comfortable driving/vparking a service van Ability to lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and stand/kneel for extended periods Excellent customer communication; bilingual a plus Own basic hand tools; we provide specialty tools as needed ASE certifications (A1-A5) preferred; we'll pay for continuing education and testing High school diploma/GED required; trade school a plus Must pass background checkJob Type:
