Master Automotive Technician Bedford, OH I&A Automotive Service Center & Towing is currently searching for a full-time Master Automotive Technician to join their dynamic company that is consistently expanding! I&A Automotive Service Center & Towing is a small business located in Bedford, OH. We are fast-paced, customer-centric, and organic. Our environment is collaborative and our credo is Dealership Quality without the Dealership Cost. At I&A we operate a bumper-to-bumper repair facility, we manage 12 service and tow vehicles, and we orchestrate a program teaching automotive trades to the youth. We have been in business since 2014. Pay:
Range $27.81-50/hr; based on experience $1000 SIGN-ON BONUS!
Hours:

Qualifications:
5-10 years of Automotive Technician experience required Must be suitable for heavy lifting of engines, transmission, etc. Must be able to easily adapt to new technologies Attention to detail is crucial
Responsibilities:
Keeps equipment available for use by inspecting and testing vehicles and completing preventive maintenance such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, and tire rotations. Maintains vehicles' functional condition by listening to operator complaints and conducting inspections. Repairs mechanical and electrical system malfunctions and replaces parts and components. Verifies vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives, adjusting controls, and updating systems. Complies with state vehicle requirements by testing engine, safety, and combustion control standards. Compiles vehicle records by recording service and repairs. Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, and preventive maintenance. Contains costs by keeping track of warranties and evaluating service and parts options. Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipts. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications. Accomplishes maintenance and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
