Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain assemblies. Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble automotive parts with precision. Work on specialized systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body repairs when necessary. Follow safety protocols and manufacturer specifications to ensure quality repairs while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Communicate clearly with customers about repair needs and estimates; provide excellent customer service throughout the service process. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance. Dealership experience is preferred but not required; familiarity with GM and Ford vehicles is a plus. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using schematics and diagnostic software. Solid mechanical knowledge of engines—gasoline and diesel—and related systems such as transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, alignment, and electrical systems. Experience working with auto estimating software; ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive repair tools. Knowledge of ADAS technology, welding procedures, and auto electrical systems enhances your versatility. Strong commitment to safety standards with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
