Overview We are looking for a skilled Fork Lift Truck Mechanic to join our warehouse operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of forklifts and heavy equipment used in warehouse distribution, shipping, and receiving. The ideal candidate will have hands-on mechanical experience and a strong understanding of warehouse equipment. Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment used in warehouse logistics. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure safety standards and operational efficiency are maintained at all times. Diagnose mechanical issues . Replace or repair parts related to hydraulic systems, electrical components, motors, and mechanical assemblies. Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities in accordance with OSHA regulations. Support shipping & receiving operations by ensuring all heavy equipment functions correctly for load & unload activities. Requirements Proven experience working with warehouse distribution equipment such as forklifts and order pickers. Mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation and maintenance. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments. Hands-on experience with materials handling tools like pallet jacks and construction-related machinery. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail during inspections and repairs. Warehouse experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
