Chassis/Trailer Mechanic

Salary Range:

Pay Rate- $24- $26/hr

Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate

Day to

Day:

Perform repairs and maintenance on chassis, trailers, and containers

Diagnose and replace or repair lights, tires, landing legs, brakes, and framework

Conduct minor welding and fabrication as needed

Inspect equipment to identify issues and ensure roadworthiness

Maintain accurate records of all work performed

Follow safety procedures and comply with industry standards

Work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Must have: Experience in chassis/trailer/container repair and maintenance

Basic welding skills preferred not required

Knowledge of brake systems, lights, tires, and framework

Strong mechanical aptitude

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions

Valid driver's license

Willingness to work in varying weather conditions

Must have basic set of hand tools This is a direct hire opportunity. The selected candidate will be employed directly by our client.
