Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Used Vehicle Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of used vehicles to ensure they meet our high standards of safety, performance, and quality. Your mechanical skills and automotive knowledge will help deliver exceptional service to our customers, supporting our mission to keep vehicles running smoothly and reliably. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on used vehicles, including engine repairs, powertrain servicing, electrical systems, and vehicle systems troubleshooting. Utilize automotive diagnostic tools and interpret wiring diagrams to accurately identify issues across various vehicle models. Conduct repairs on diesel engines, automotive electrical systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and perform wheel alignments to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical repair techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely. Follow schematics and technical manuals precisely to execute repairs according to manufacturer specifications. Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required during vehicle maintenance or body repairs while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain detailed service records, complete inspection reports, and communicate findings clearly with team members and customers. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with used vehicles. Strong knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures. Experience with ADAS calibration, alignment procedures, diesel engine repair, and automotive repair standards. Familiarity with automotive repair tools including hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic software. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately. Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude toward vehicle care and client interactions. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of automotive body repair processes is a plus but not required.
