ER Autocare is hiring an experienced Automotive Inspector to join our team. This role goes beyond oil changes — you'll be the expert who catches what others miss, protects our customers from breakdowns and safety issues, and helps them understand exactly what their vehicle needs.

Pay:

$60,000-$80,000/year, you are paid for every inspection performed What You'll Do Perform thorough, expert-level vehicle inspections with speed and precision — vehicles completed within 20 minutes of work starting Work hand-in-hand with Lube Techs during oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections Build accurate estimates in our shop management system for every service and repair need you find Talk directly with waiting customers to explain your findings and answer questions — with honesty and integrity, every time Perform quality control and cross-checks on fellow technicians' work to prevent catastrophic failures Help keep the shop clean, safe, and running efficiently Partner with your Store Manager to improve processes for speed and quality Perform continuous improvement projects to increase quality and efficiency to give our clients a better experience What You Bring Valid US Driver's License and insurable driving record Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician Advanced knowledge of vehicle systems and mechanical repair Sharp eye for detail — you know how to inspect a vehicle and find what it actually needs Comfortable using computers and shop management software Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and move throughout the shop (bending, reaching, stooping, etc.) Why ER Autocare?
