Overview We are seeking a skilled Industrial Mechanic / Equipment Technician to join our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, along with experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and maintenance management systems (CMMS). Candidates with industrial electrician experience, military background, or field service expertise are highly encouraged to apply. ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:

Perform routine adjustments, tests, inspections, maintenance, and repairs to equipment. Troubleshoot and repair gas / diesel engines. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems for both on road/off-road vehicles & construction equipment. Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and aerial work platform diagnostics. Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders/parts orders. Maintain an orderly work area. Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed. Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards. Adhere to and support AMECO's Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills relative to the job. Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality. Other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

High School diploma or GED; Technical school credentials preferred.

Minimum Qualifications:

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of in repairing tools, equipment, or machinery, preferably within the construction equipment industry. Basic/Intermediate knowledge of hydraulics, electronics/electrical systems, schematics, drivetrain, and diesel/gasoline engines. Experience with mobile heating and air conditioning systems preferred. Able to fulfil physical requirements of the job, including, but not limited to lifting, climbing, being on your feet for extended amounts of time and working in a shop environment are needed. Willing to travel to job sites, some overnight stays may be required occasionally. Must be able willing and able to obtain forklift certification, aerial platform operation training certification, fall protection training certification, manufacturer specific training and courses and OSHA specific training. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Capable of multi-tasking, while maintaining quality and safety standards Requires a professional and customer service demeanor always be displayed. Must have a strong attention to detail and be able to work with little direction. The selected candidate must supply own repair tools, bench equipment supplied. As the workload dictates, some overtime (including weekends) will be required. This position is integral to maintaining the efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operations.
