• Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team.

In this vital role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services. Your enthusiasm and mechanical knowledge will help guide clients through their automotive needs, ensuring a seamless and positive service experience. You will coordinate between customers, technicians, and parts departments to deliver exceptional service while promoting additional vehicle services and repairs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for automobiles with excellent customer service skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly, listen attentively to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs. Explain recommended repairs and services clearly, providing detailed auto estimates and cost breakdowns. Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission diagnostics to maximize customer satisfaction and shop productivity. Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of services. Manage service writing tasks including creating work orders, tracking vehicle status, and updating customers on progress. Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining detailed records of all payments received. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of automotive diagnostics, mechanical systems, and repair procedures including diesel engines, auto body repairs, air brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments. Experience Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs such as brake systems, transmissions, oil changes, tire service, suspension work, and auto body repairs. Demonstrated ability in auto estimating software and service writing processes. Experience in upselling vehicle maintenance services while maintaining excellent customer relationships. Familiarity with automotive repair procedures including diesel engine repair and specialty systems like air brakes or alignments is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients of varying backgrounds.
