Overview J Full Auto Repair - Jefferson, Ohio Full Auto Repair is looking for a dependable, motivated person to join our team in a unique hybrid position. This employee will primarily work in the shop performing basic automotive maintenance and lube technician duties, while also being cross-trained to assist at our front desk and fill in for our Service Advisor when needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working on vehicles but also has strong people skills and would like to learn more about the business and customer-service side of the automotive industry. Primary Shop Responsibilities Oil changes and routine maintenance Tire rotations and basic tire service Fluid checks and other basic services Performing thorough digital vehicle inspections Identifying and documenting visible maintenance and safety concerns Keeping the work area clean and organized Assisting technicians with basic shop tasks as needed Service Advisor / Front Desk Responsibilities When needed, this position will also assist with: Answering phones and speaking with customers Scheduling appointments Checking customers in and out Creating and updating repair orders Communicating basic repair and maintenance information Relaying information between customers and technicians Looking up parts and assisting with basic estimates as training progresses Covering the front desk during Service Advisor absences, breaks, vacations or other scheduling needs Who We're Looking For The right person doesn't necessarily need years of professional automotive experience. We're willing to train someone who has the right attitude, basic mechanical ability and willingness to learn. We're especially interested in someone who is: Dependable and has strong attendance Friendly and comfortable communicating with customers Mechanically inclined Comfortable using computers and learning new software Organized and able to switch between different responsibilities Detail-oriented, especially when completing vehicle inspections Able to work independently when needed Willing to learn both the technician and service-advisor sides of the business Professional and able to represent Full Auto well with customers Automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates with personal, vocational-school or entry-level automotive experience who demonstrate strong potential. Why This Position Is Different This isn't strictly a lube technician position. We're looking for someone who wants to become a versatile member of our team and learn multiple areas of the business. You'll receive hands-on experience in the shop while also learning the customer-service and administrative side of an independent automotive repair facility. Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
