Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive shafts, ensuring efficient operation. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to improve handling and ride quality. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems such as lighting, sensors, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Utilize hand tools and power tools skillfully to perform repairs on mechanical parts, welding tasks, and other maintenance activities. Service vehicle electrical systems, including batteries, alternators, starters, and electronic modules. Follow dealership procedures and safety protocols while delivering outstanding customer service throughout the repair process. Qualifications Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with schematics for complex vehicle systems. Experience working with ADAS technology, automotive electrical systems, and wiring diagram interpretation. Mechanical knowledge of engines, transmissions, vehicle suspension systems, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Demonstrated ability to perform vehicle maintenance tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; GM vehicle experience is a plus but not required.
