Ultra Motors | Lima, Ohio | Full-Time Ultra Motors is looking for an experienced, dependable Lead Automotive Technician to join our growing team in Lima, Ohio. We are a fast-growing automotive dealership focused on providing quality vehicles and a great experience for our customers. As our inventory continues to grow, we're looking for a technician who can take ownership of the shop, diagnose vehicles accurately, complete repairs efficiently, and help maintain a high standard of workmanship. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, drivability, and check-engine issues Perform inspections and identify necessary repairs Perform general maintenance and mechanical repairs Complete brake, suspension, steering, cooling, and exhaust repairs Diagnose and repair electrical and drivability concerns Perform engine and transmission repairs when necessary Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship Road test vehicles before and after repairs Help determine repair priorities based on vehicle condition and inventory needs Keep the shop and work areas clean and organized Maintain accurate records of completed repairs Help train and support other technicians as needed Communicate vehicle issues and repair recommendations with management Take ownership of the overall quality and productivity of the shop What We're Looking For 3+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Comfortable working on a wide variety of makes and models Ability to diagnose check-engine, electrical, ABS, and drivability issues Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong attention to detail Dependable and consistent attendance Ability to prioritize multiple vehicles and repair needs Positive attitude and professional work ethic Strong communication skills Valid driver's license Ability to work in a fast-paced dealership environment We're looking for someone who wants a long-term opportunity with Ultra Motors , not someone looking for a temporary stop.
