Job Overview Pay will depend on your experience If technician can do light, mechanical and work as well as brake work this pace commission. This is a high paced with many customers coming in and out. We will give you a trial date. If you can keep up we will talk about a job. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive service and repair, with a focus on both gasoline and diesel engines. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality service to our customers while ensuring all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards. Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on various automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems. Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with service advisors to understand customer concerns and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles. Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques through continuous learning and training. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working in the shop environment. Skills Proficiency in diesel engine repair is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and their components. Experience as a service technician in a dealership or independent shop setting. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive issues effectively. Familiarity with both hand tools and power tools used in automotive repair. Ability to align vehicles accurately using specialized equipment. Strong customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs.
