Job Description
Lead Fleet MechanicValicor Environmental Services is looking for a Lead Fleet Mechanic to work in our Middletown, OH (Lefferson Road) facility.
Job DutiesOil changes, tire repairs and preventative maintenance on all fleet equipmentDiagnose breakdowns and conduct repairsPerform electrical diagnostics using OEM softwarePerform diagnostics and repair of engine, fuel, and after treatment systemsPerform repair and replacement of drivetrain components such as drive shafts, transmissions, and differentialsMaintain accurate and complete preventative maintenance records and work ordersAssist and train other mechanicsInventory and source parts and shop suppliesCommunicate with Dispatch and Fleet Manager regarding fleet maintenance and repair statusKeep the shop area and surrounding area cleanFollow all plant safety policies and procedures Basic RequirementsRequired to stand and walk for prolonged periods of timeAbility to safely climb laddersMust be able to lift 50+poundsPre-employment background and drug screen requiredHigh School Diploma or EquivalentBenefitsCompetitive pay ratesGuaranteed 40 hours per weekPaid Holidays, Paid Time OffMedical/Dental/Vision plansEmployee Referral IncentivesAnnual bonus programDisability & Life InsuranceMatching 401(k)Successful candidates must pass the Pre-Screening including a criminal background check, drug screen, and MVR check (if applicable for the position).About ValicorHeadquartered in Monroe, Ohio.
