This position combines the stability of guaranteed hourly pay with additional compensation for productivity. You receive your regular hourly wage for every hour you work plus an additional $8 for every flagged/billed labor hour you produce. For example, at the $25/hour starting base: 40 clock hours + 40 flagged hours = $1,320/week That's an effective rate of $33/hour , while still maintaining the security of a guaranteed hourly base. Productive technicians can earn more, and current ASE certifications increase your starting base rate. What We're Looking For 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience preferred. We're looking for someone who can confidently perform general automotive repair and maintenance without constant supervision.

You should be proficient in:

Brake diagnosis and repair Steering and suspension diagnosis and repair Wheel alignment theory and proper alignment procedures General engine repair Preventive maintenance and fluid services Starting and charging system diagnosis and repair General electrical diagnosis Proper use of scan tools, DVOMs, service information, and diagnostic equipment General tire mounting, balancing, repair, and rotation Complete vehicle inspections Accurately documenting inspection and diagnostic findings We're not looking for someone who knows everything. We are looking for someone with enough experience to understand how automotive systems work, determine why something failed, and make a quality repair. The Person We're Looking For Technical ability matters, but so does the person working beside you every day.
