The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive, with experience in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues. This role involves working on a variety of vehicles ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards for safety and performance. Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repairs on various types of vehicles Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake repairs, alignment adjustments, and tire services. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and fabrication tasks. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively. Work on transmissions, suspensions, shocks & struts. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair . Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding techniques for equipment repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting methods for various vehicle types Experience with electrical systems is a plus; soldering skills are beneficial. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs or maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Previous dealership experience is highly desirable; service technician experience is also valuable.
