Equipment & Fleet Technician - Facilities Handyman

$24.00 - $32.00 per hour (Based on experience; benefits are optional) The Role We are seeking a versatile Technician and Handyman for a permanent, full-time position. You will work alongside our Lead Mechanic to maintain our fleet and equipment, while also serving as the primary person for general building maintenance and yard projects. This is a great role for someone who likes variety—whether it's helping wrench on a loader or handling a construction project on a yard building.

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet Support:

Work with our Lead Mechanic to service and repair our equipment, including loaders and mulch grinders.

Truck Maintenance:

Assist with the upkeep of our vehicle fleet; knowledge of semis and dump trucks is a huge plus.

Equipment Operation:

Assist in moving or testing equipment; the ability to operate loaders and other yard machinery is highly preferred.

Facility Handyman:

Lead general construction and repair projects on our yard buildings and infrastructure.

Small Engine Care:

Handle routine maintenance on smaller motorized equipment.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

Mechanical experience with equipment and/or heavy trucks (Semi/Dump truck experience is a major advantage). Ability to operate heavy machinery (loaders, etc.) or a willingness to learn. Strong "handyman" skill set (general construction and building repair). Reliable team player who is happy to jump in wherever needed.
