We are a busy, established independent automotive repair shop in Sardinia, Ohio, looking for experienced automotive technicians to join our team. We are looking for experienced technicians at multiple skill levels — Master, A, B and C technicians. We are willing to pay based on your actual experience, skill level and ability to work independently. If you're an experienced technician who takes pride in doing quality work and wants a Monday-Friday schedule with NO weekends, we want to hear from you!

Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-5:00 PM NO Saturdays NO Sundays Consistent daytime schedule No rotating weekend schedule We believe our technicians should have a life outside the shop.

MASTER / A-LEVEL TECHNICIAN

We are looking for an experienced technician who can diagnose problems accurately and work independently from start to finish.

Responsibilities may include:

Advanced engine diagnostics Electrical and electronic diagnostics Check-engine light diagnosis Driveability diagnosis Advanced scan-tool diagnostics ABS and airbag systems Starting and charging systems Fuel and ignition systems Heating and A/C diagnosis and repair Suspension and steering Brake systems Engine and transmission repairs Timing-chain/belt repairs Advanced troubleshooting Vehicle inspections General mechanical repairs Properly documenting work performed Ideal candidate: Extensive professional automotive experience Strong diagnostic ability Able to diagnose problems rather than simply replace parts Comfortable using professional scan tools and diagnostic equipment Able to work independently Takes pride in quality workmanship Good communication skills Dependable and punctual Owns professional tools ASE certifications are a plus but experience and ability matter most

B-LEVEL TECHNICIAN

We are also looking for an experienced B-level technician who can independently perform a wide range of automotive repairs but may need assistance with some of the more advanced diagnostic or complex repairs.

Responsibilities may include:

Brake repairs Suspension and steering Wheel bearings Exhaust repairs Cooling-system repairs Starting and charging systems General electrical repairs Maintenance services Tires Alignments Vehicle inspections Basic to intermediate diagnostics Check-engine light diagnosis General mechanical repairs Assist with more complicated repairs when necessary Ideal candidate: Previous professional shop experience required Able to diagnose and repair common automotive problems Can work independently on most repairs Understands proper repair procedures Willing to continue developing diagnostic skills Dependable and productive Owns their own tools Works well with other technicians

C-LEVEL TECHNICIAN

We're also interested in an experienced C-level technician who can confidently handle routine maintenance and common repairs while continuing to develop their diagnostic and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities may include:

Oil changes Preventive maintenance Brake replacement and service Tire mounting and balancing Tire rotations Battery replacement Basic inspections Suspension components Steering components Basic cooling-system repairs Basic electrical repairs Basic diagnostics General maintenance and repair Assist higher-level technicians when needed Keep work areas clean and organized Ideal candidate: Previous automotive shop experience required Basic understanding of automotive systems Able to perform routine repairs safely and correctly Good mechanical aptitude Willingness to learn Good work ethic Dependable and punctual Wants to continue developing into a higher-level technician We are willing to help the right C technician develop their skills and move toward B/A-level work.

COMPENSATION

Pay is based on experience and skill level.

schedule Our compensation structure rewards technicians who are productive and consistently produce quality work. For experienced technicians, your earning potential can be substantially higher than the base hourly rate because of our monthly commission program.

We are not looking for someone who is just getting started in the automotive field. We need technicians who already have hands-on professional shop experience.

Pay:

$16.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
