K & R Auto Repair is a full service shop, working on most makes and models. If you are a career minded professional with great character and great customer service skills, we want to talk to you! K & R Auto Repair is seeking an Onsite Service Advisor for our shop located in Sylvania, OH. This role serves as an important liaison between our customers and our technicians, facilitating the repair process from vehicle intake to vehicle pickup while ensuring clear communication and excellent customer service. The Service Advisor is responsible for consulting on service needs, estimating costs, ordering parts and selling service repairs along with other responsibilities. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills with a strong understanding of the automotive repair industry. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist customers onsite throughout the repair process Explain repair procedures, timelines, and costs in clear, simple terms Communicate customer concerns and repair details between technicians and customers Excellent phone skills Manage repair orders from open to close Provide repair updates and address customer questions and concerns Recommend necessary repairs and assist with repair authorizations Ensure accurate documentation of customer, vehicle, and insurance information Follow company policies, warranty guidelines, and repair standards Maintaining positive customer relationships in order to ensure repeat business Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills Basic automotive repair knowledge is required Previous Service Advisor experience is required Ability to manage multiple repair orders at once Organized, detail-oriented, and professional High school diploma or GED required
