Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Service and repair diesel engines, air brake systems, and heavy equipment as required, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to maintain optimal performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive problems effectively. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures. Expertise in ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), automotive electrical systems, and diagnostics technology. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems repair including transmissions, suspension systems, powertrain components, and brake systems. Experience working with GM vehicles or similar makes is preferred but not required. Skilled in using vehicle schematics for troubleshooting and repairs; familiarity with auto estimating software is a plus. Ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Knowledge of diesel mechanics and heavy equipment mechanics is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
