Duties Safely dismantle vehicles using hand tools, power tools, and automotive equipment to remove parts for resale or recycling Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs to prepare vehicles for dismantling or resale Use heavy lifting techniques and equipment to move engines, tires, and other large components efficiently Assist with auto body repairs and restoration tasks as needed to ensure vehicles meet quality standards Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times Support inventory management by cataloging removed parts and ensuring proper storage procedures Collaborate with team members to meet daily dismantling targets and uphold safety standards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems and components Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment Experience in vehicle maintenance, auto body repair, or auto restoration is highly desirable Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in a physically demanding environment Knowledge of automotive service procedures and dismantling techniques Prior mechanic experience or automotive repair background is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and efficiency This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to expand their skills in automotive dismantling, repair, and general labor within an energetic scrapyard setting.
