Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of vehicle systems, diagnose issues accurately, and perform high-quality repairs that keep our customers safe and satisfied. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across various vehicle systems. Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive axles, ensuring optimal vehicle performance. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and alignments to manufacturer specifications for safety and handling. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical problems within automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other specialized tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Diagnose and repair advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) such as lane departure warnings, collision avoidance systems, and parking assist features. Qualifications Dealership experience or equivalent service technician experience is highly preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair across various vehicle makes, including GM vehicles if possible. Proficiency with automotive diagnostic tools and understanding of automotive diagnostics procedures. Familiarity with schematics, automotive wiring diagrams, and vehicle electrical systems is essential. Experience repairing diesel engines, vehicle transmission systems, and vehicle suspension systems is a plus. Ability to interpret technical manuals and perform auto estimating tasks accurately. Excellent customer service skills combined with effective communication abilities. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance best practices along with a commitment to safety standards.
