We're looking for a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team and help us keep history alive, one vehicle at a time. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on vintage vehicles using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and system faults. Repair and overhaul engines, including powertrain components, engine systems, and electrical wiring diagrams specific to classic cars. Conduct detailed engine repairs ensuring optimal performance of automotive engine systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and manual handling techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components with precision. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical issues within vehicle systems such as lighting, ignition, and instrumentation. Perform vehicle maintenance tasks including alignment, suspension adjustments, brake servicing, and system calibrations tailored to older models. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications while providing exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and professionally. Requirements Proven dealership or automotive repair experience with a strong background in working on classic cars. Extensive knowledge of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and mechanical repair techniques specific to vintage vehicles. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and diagnostics procedures for gasoline engines. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics accurately for troubleshooting electrical issues. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, alignment equipment, and other automotive service tools.
