Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mechanic to join our manufacturing facility team. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of industrial equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Your expertise in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems will be essential in supporting our production processes. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to equipment maintenance, possess strong technical knowledge, and demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills to keep our facility running smoothly and safely. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment using precision measuring instruments and schematics. Troubleshoot electrical systems, including electrical diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and reading electrical blueprints. Repair and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, ensuring minimal downtime through effective troubleshooting. Conduct welding (including welding), equipment repairs, and high voltage electrical work following safety standards. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, maintenance history, and inventory management. Diagnose issues with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation components to support continuous production flow. Support field service activities by performing equipment troubleshooting on-site at various locations as needed. Experience Proven industrial mechanic experience within manufacturing facilities or similar industrial environments. Hands-on experience with HVAC/R systems, HVAC maintenance, and electrical systems diagnostics. Familiarity with industrial electrician practices, including low voltage wiring, schematics reading, and electrical blueprint interpretation. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and troubleshooting pneumatic systems in an industrial setting. Experience working with precision measuring instruments such as ammeters and ohmmeters for accurate diagnostics. Strong analysis skills combined with engineering troubleshooting techniques to resolve complex equipment issues efficiently. Prior experience with field service operations, customer service orientation, and technical sales experience is a plus.
