The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle maintenance and repair. with a focus on diagnostics. As a Shop Foreman/ Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for making appointments, talking to customers, creating estimates and work orders. Along with those duties, performing repairs, and ensuring the highest repair standards of service for our customers. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various power tools and equipment. The position is commission/Flag time. Rate of compensation depends on experience. Duties Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and support. Provide Customer support in several areas. Creating Repair Estimates and Work orders. Perform automotive diagnostics to identify issues with vehicles accurately. Conduct routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations. Execute auto body repair work as needed, ensuring vehicles are restored to optimal condition. Work on powertrain components and systems to ensure proper functionality. Utilize power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks. Align wheels and perform suspension work as required. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to provide exceptional service and support. Qualifications Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role in a dealership setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various automotive systems. Familiarity with most major makes of vehicles is preferred but not mandatory. Proficient in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
