Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our fast-paced team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers seeking vehicle maintenance and repair services including purchase of new tires. Your energetic approach will help guide clients through the service process, ensure their needs are met with professionalism, and promote additional services to enhance their vehicle's performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine automotive knowledge with exceptional customer service skills, creating a positive experience for every driver who walks through our doors. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Explain recommended repairs and maintenance options clearly, using automotive diagnostics and auto estimating tools Write detailed service orders and manage service writing processes accurately Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, and transmission repairs to maximize customer satisfaction and dealership revenue Provide updates to customers on repair progress and explain completed work in an understandable manner Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently Experience Proven experience in auto service management or as a service technician with a strong background in automotive and tires Previous experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with automotive repair procedures and customer service excellence Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining integrity and customer trust Excellent communication skills to clearly explain technical issues to customers of varying automotive knowledge levels Valid driving license with a clean driving record Join us in delivering top-tier automotive service that keeps our customers safe on the road!
