Perform repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Complete multi-point inspections and identify additional maintenance or repair needs. Follow manufacturer warranty requirements, repair procedures, documentation standards, and repair escalation processes. Test-drive vehicles and utilize factory diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to verify concerns and confirm repairs. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding repair recommendations, additional services needed, and estimated completion times. Maintain accurate repair documentation and parts return procedures. Keep your work area, service bay, toolbox, and surrounding workspace clean, organized, and safe. Participate in manufacturer and company training programs to stay current with evolving vehicle technology.
We're Looking For Technicians Who:
Have experience performing professional automotive repairs. Enjoy diagnosing and solving mechanical and electrical concerns. Take pride in producing high-quality work. Work efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and fellow team members. Are committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Value teamwork and delivering an exceptional customer experience. Preferred Qualifications Two or more years of professional automotive repair experience Dealership experience preferred Chrysler, Ford, GM, ASE, or other manufacturer certifications are a plus Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Knowledge of modern automotive electrical, engine, transmission, suspension, brake, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems Ability to read repair orders, inspect vehicles, and accurately diagnose concerns Knowledge of manufacturer warranty procedures and repair documentation Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 18 years of age Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Must provide your own technician tools Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand, bend, and work on your feet throughout the workday Ability to safely operate customer vehicles Build Your Career With Us At Stuteville Auto Group, we're committed to helping our technicians build rewarding, long-term careers.
